Contemporary Training. Classical Foundation.
Every dancer in the CONTEMPORARY DIVISION starts at the same place – ballet class. Ballet is the single most important key to a strong foundation in dance. Techniques, values, and disciplines learned from ballet translate into all other dance styles. Every CONTEMPORARY DIVISION student is assigned to a ballet class and attends it alongside our Ballet Division students. In addition to their assigned ballet classes, each student follows a curriculum of classes to support their individual progression.
We have spent fifteen years watching what happens when contemporary and competition dancers are trained with a classical base. They move better. They last longer. They become more complete artists.
This program now formalized as a dedicated program for dancers who want to pursue contemporary training as their focus.
What We Train?
Each level is built around a full weekly schedule of technique classes that develop the whole dancer from the ground up.
