PROMOTE innovative dance education
HOW WILL YOU SUPPORT INNOVATIVE DANCE EDUCATION?
The destiny of this century old classical art form rests on the shoulders of aspiring dancers and the quality of the ballet education they receive. SCB is committed to developing the highest caliber training program available, encouraging our dancers to express their creative voices, and empowering them to succeed in the professional world of ballet.
A donation is an investment for the future:
- A gift that helps preserve the classical art of ballet
- A gift that will help a young artist realize his or her dream of dancing
- A gift that shows future generations the dedication our community has to the arts
Every gift makes a difference, regardless of size, to the success our students achieve in their training process. To ensure that our training program continues to advance and remains relevant, innovative, and challenging, we seek support from the art community and beyond.
It is because of valued patrons giving us their time, money, and influence that we are making a difference in dance education in Kansas City and the greater metropolitan area.

ANNUAL CAMPAIGN
While student tuition covers a large portion of our operating expenses, SCB also relies on generous donations to fund our initiatives and programs. Gifts from the Annual Campaign help bridge the gap between tuition and operating expenses, providing fiscal stability.

TAPAS AND TUTUS
FUNDRAISING EVENT
Tapas & Tutus is an annual casual event where SCB can showcase our talented students, communicate our mission to prospective and current patrons, and provide an entertaining evening for our guests, all while fundraising for special programs and projects for the school.

FOUNDATION AND
CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP
The philanthropy and business communities are a valued partner to the arts and arts education. The support from the philanthropy and business communities is an investment in our talented, impassioned young artists as well as a commitment to the art community. By contributing, a connection to a desirable, local audience will be established in a meaningful way as an advocate of community engagement and enrichment.

For more information or to further explore ways you can become an advocate for the art of ballet through SCB, please contact the school directors.
